Jimi Hendrix. Bob Dylan. The Beatles. Of all the artists lauded for their achievements in rock history, there's a whole host of young musicians who deserve their own place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: The rockers who played their parents' basements, garages, and even their school dances like they were headlining Woodstock.
From early gigs to practice sessions, here are 20 pics of what it looked like to be in a 1970s garage band.
